Professional Cement Retained Implant Bridge Design
When esthetics are paramount, or when screw access channels would compromise the incisal edge, a Cement Retained Implant Bridge is the solution. However, it requires precise engineering. At India Dental Design, we design the bridge and the custom abutments simultaneously (“Split-File” workflow) to ensure perfect parallelism and passive seating.
We prioritize Peri-implant Health. By carefully placing the cement margins at or slightly above the gum line (equigingival), we ensure the clinician can easily remove excess cement, preventing peri-implantitis.
🛠 Technical Specifications
- Path of Insertion: Auto-surveyed to ensure 0° undercut between abutments.
- Margin Placement: Equigingival or 0.5mm Subgingival (customizable).
- Cement Gap: 0.040mm – 0.060mm (Optimized for cement flow).
- Occlusal Table: Ideal morphology (no screw holes).
- Abutment Material: Titanium or Zirconia (Hybrid Base).
- Connectors: Reinforced for Zirconia (>12mm²).
Why Labs Choose Our Cementable Designs?
1. The “Parallelism” Promise
A bridge won’t seat if the abutments aren’t parallel. We digitally survey all abutments to create a common path of insertion, ensuring the bridge drops in effortlessly without binding.
2. Preventing Cement Sepsis
The #1 cause of implant failure is excess cement. We follow strict protocols to raise the margin line on the custom abutment design, making cement cleanup simple and safe for the dentist.
3. Superior Esthetics
Without screw holes breaking the occlusal surface or facial aspect, we can create ideal anatomy. This is critical for Anterior bridges where appearance is everything.
4. Split-File Workflow
We design the Abutment and the Superstructure (Bridge) in one go. This ensures the cement gap is consistent and the support for the ceramic is optimized.
Digital Workflow
Seamless integration for custom abutment cases:
- 📥 Step 1: Upload Scan Body scans.
- 💻 Step 2: Request “Split-File” (Custom Abutment + Bridge).
- ⚙️ Step 3: Receive 2 STL files: One for the Abutments (milling/turning) and one for the Bridge (milling).
Test Our Parallelism
Send us a complex bridge case. We will design the abutments and bridge for free to prove the fit.
