Professional Esthetic Veneer Design
Veneers are the most demanding restorations in dental labs. One mistake in thickness or contour can ruin a smile makeover. At India Dental Design, our Dental Veneer Design service is led by senior technicians who understand the art of a smile.
We don’t just design “shells”. We incorporate secondary and tertiary anatomy (surface texture) directly into the CAD file. This means your veneers come out of the mill looking natural, requiring minimal manual texturing before glazing.
🛠 Technical Specifications
- Minimum Thickness: 0.3mm – 0.5mm (Material dependent).
- Margin Offset: Horizontal reinforcement to prevent chipping during milling.
- Spacer: 0.040mm (starting 1.5mm from margin) for passive seating.
- Cut-back: Facial cut-back option for micro-layering.
- Insertion Axis: Carefully blocked out for path of insertion.
- Workflow: Mill (Wet/Dry) or Print (Wax/Resin).
Why Cosmetic Labs Choose Us?
1. The “Contact Lens” Effect
We specialize in “Non-Prep” and “Minimal Prep” veneers. We push the limits of your material (E.max/LiSi) to create ultra-thin restorations that blend seamlessly with the natural tooth.
2. Surface Texture
A smooth veneer looks fake. We add subtle horizontal striations and vertical lobes (developmental grooves) in the CAD design, mimicking the light reflection of natural enamel.
3. Milling Strategy
Milling thin margins is risky. We can design the margin slightly thicker (0.2mm extension) for safe milling, which your technician can easily polish back. This creates a chip-free margin every time.
4. Digital Smile Design (DSD)
Send us a 2D face photo and the intra-oral scan. We can overlay the 3D design on the face photo to verify the smile curve and midline before you produce the final case.
Workflow: From Wax-up to Final
We support various cosmetic workflows:
- 📥 Diagnostic Wax-up: We design a digital wax-up for the patient to “test drive” the smile (Mock-up).
- 📥 Final Veneers: Once approved, we adapt the design to the preps for the final ceramic production.
- ⚙️ Output: Open STL files ready for E.max milling or Wax printing/pressing.
Test Our Esthetics
Send us an anterior case (6-11). We’ll design it for free so you can see the texture.
